The women's long sleeve jersey Castelli Perfetto RoS from Castelli is the jacket that satisfies you in all situations. Initially, it was conceived for professional runners, thinking of a jacket that would be suitable for training on cold days and for running in extreme conditions; however, this garment excels in many other conditions, thanks to its complete wind protection, its wonderful fit provided by stretch fabrics, and it is the best of all in terms of breathability.
Winter 2019 represents the most significant improvement of all four generations of this jacket. The word RoS in the name stands for Rain or Shine. The emphasis should be on comfort during dry days, which is where this jacket excels, but it can become almost waterproof if it happens to start raining during your ride. Working with Gore, two new exclusive fabrics Castelli GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER have been developed. A slightly brushed waterproof fabric has been used on the front of the jacket and a lighter, stretchier fabric on the back. This fabric maintains the breathability characteristics of those used previously while improving waterproofness.
The Perfetto RoS has the ideal weight: no insulation, so you can choose to wear lightweight underwear in intermediate conditions. Alternatively, you can add a thermal jersey when its very cold. Its entirely up to you.
The Perfetto family features all these characteristics: an excellent fit, a quick-slide YKK zipper, longer in the back to protect you from wheel spray, a reflective panel on the back, and a discreet style that hides in the racing pedigree of this jacket.
