The women's jersey Castelli Gabba RoS originated in 2010, Castelli introduced the Gabba into the world of professionals and revolutionized their way of riding in the rain, in the cold, and during training. Any other ambitious cyclist quickly realized they needed to include the Gabba in their wardrobe.
There have been small adjustments over the years, but in the fourth generation of the Gabba, Castelli decided to start almost from scratch to make a significant improvement. This coincided with the idea of achieving a level of total waterproofness, which meant developing a new GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER fabric. The front has been made warmer and slightly brushed, while the back is lighter and already more water-repellent than the previous Gabba.
Better in the rain, with heat-sealed seams on the shoulders and a covered zip. Based on tests from Team Ineos, it was thought to be better to have two pockets that are easier to reach when wearing gloves, but an internal pocket was added to prevent the pump or other items from moving excessively.
It won't be easy to make a better Gabba than this, but Castelli will try.
